The Duke Chanticleer needed promotional signage to increase interest, public engagement, and visibility on campus. The graphics were designed to promote both the yearbook as a product and as a creative extracurricular club. Students are constantly surrounded by opportunities and advertisements, so these were created with an intentionally lighthearted, casual, and friendly vibe to create a feeling of familiarity and mild nostalgia, as well as to ensure that students did not feel alienated from either the graphics or the group. The vertically oriented images were designed for display on digital signage across campus, while the square graphics were intended for use on social media, such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
